One thing that Metal Detector does not have is a wild symbol. This is quite rare for a video slot but the mid level pays make up for this a bit. Top jackpot is 2000 coins for five treasure chests. This is followed closely by 1000 coins for either five coins or five rings and the good pays don't stop there.

Next up you have two ways to hit for 800 coins with either the necklaces or the guns. Then you have two ways to hit for 500 coins with either five watches or candle sticks. It is always great to see a game with a bit of depth to the jackpots. This means you can get god wins without ever hitting the top pay.

Metal Detector has two bonus features - a free spin bonus and a pick a box style stage. To win the free spins you need to get three or more scattered map symbols anywhere on the reels. Oddly there is no pay for the scatters but you do win free games.

At the X4 multiplier you are looking at a top jackpot of 8,000 coins.

The second bonus on Metal Detector is won by getting three or more of the treasure hunter symbols anywhere on the reels. Once won you move to a second screen stage where you are at the beach (Screenshot). You have to guide your hunter by using the arrows. When the meter shows you are above some metal you press dig to reveal your prize.

Metal Detector definitely get's some points for being original. The theme is really well done with both bonus games and the symbols on the reels. If you are a video slot fan it is well worth a spin or three.
